Pella Soccer Club Premier Team:
U12 Girls - Pella Oranjes
Comprised of players from Pella, this is the third year for this age group. With a core of returning players and a host of players from successful recreational teams, the team has high expectations after a successful fall season that was capped with wins in the Heritage Invitational in Olathe, Kansas in November 2008. In addition to IPSL league play, they will compete in the WDMSC Premier Games in West Des Moines on April 4-5, 2009 and the 17th Annual NSC CUP Soccer Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota on May 23-25, 2009.
Head coach is Russ Goodman. Russ has 7 years of coaching experience, 6 of those years coaching women's collegiate soccer. Russ has the following coaching licenses: NSCAA "D" and NSCAA Goalkeeping Level II.
Assisting Russ this season will be assistant coach Alyssa Brobst and parent coach Mike Buchheit.
